Happy fasting, everybody!

Assalamulaikum, and greeting everybody. Praise upon be ALLAH, we still alive at this moment. What a long time for me since my last post. Well, when the gap between posts is long, surely due to lack of idea... Hmm... well,well,well.. Ramadhan, the month of fasting with so many tempting tests around us. For certain people, they somehow dislike this full of blessing month. Why? The main reason is because we CAN'T EAT & DRINK during the day. What kind of reason like that? This shows that how weak we are... shame, man. Have a look on people living in poverty. They seldom eat and rarely able to get good food. Then, how about us? Think again. We live in a good country with good economy. No problem to get food especially the good ones. Still don't have any sense of gratefulness? Masya-ALLAH... Astaghfirullahalazim.. Fasting is actually a form of 'ibadah' to test our 'iman' in term of patience. The act of fasting a month is actually to improve our 'iman' as we need to always be patience as patience is part of 'iman'. "Assobruminaliman. In addition, Ramadhan actually is a month of 'spriritual workshop' or in Malay, 'bengkel kerohanian'. Why I said so? Because in this month, every 'ibadah' will be rewarded with more 'pahala'. So that's why many people go to mosques to pray sunat Tarawikh. It also must be noted that Ramadhan also is a month of forgiveness. Thus, we are encouraged to seek forgiveness from ALLAH and repent from our sins.

Another thing that I truly dislike with today's trend is that many people when at the middle of Ramadhan, they start to focus excessively on Raya. What sort of behaviour like that? Ramadhan is the month of blessings and forgiveness from ALLAH S.W.T where we need to struggle fighting our own lust. If we fast even not enough a month, and sometimes we invalidate our fast, but then still want to celebrate Raya extensively?? Shame, shame and shame on that kind of people. Raya is only for people who successfully fight their own lust, fasted fully a month and regretted and repented from their past sins. That is what Raya meant for.

Masya-ALLAH.... Let us make a new goal in this Ramadhan. To search blessings and forgiveness from ALLAH. Ramadhan is a truly great month in Islam. Even our prophet, Rasulullah S.A.W loves this month so much compare to the other months. Lastly, I wish everybody "Happy breaking fast" which stands "selamat berbuka puasa"....
